The Kentucky Pirate Party, or Bluegrass Pirates, was formed in 2022 during Ethan Osborne's congressional campaign, in an attempt to build a coalition of left-leaning third parties and Independent Progressives. In 2023, the Osborne iteration announced their departure from the United States Pirate Party, later folding with no remaining active Kentucky Pirate Party and the USPP without an active Pirate Party branch in Kentucky.

EDITOR's NOTE: Ethan Osborne left the USPP, taking with him the KYPP branch he started. Ethan would later remove himself from the organization all together, effectively folding his iteration of the KYPP. There is no active, legitimate Kentucky Pirate Party. Any account on social media claiming to be the Kentucky Pirate Party or an affiliate of said party is falsely claiming to run a now defunct party.
