[9:15pm] yari: That might be a good idea, though I would emphasize that the election will not be decided that night

[9:15pm] Olivia_: You can promote it is election night coverage and promote it as a special event.
[9:16pm] yari: In all likelyhood, results will not be known until a week or two afterword
[9:16pm] yari: Mail in ballots have to be counted
[9:16pm] Olivia_: So anyone around the world can attend too.
[9:16pm] Sayyida: yep and I tend to be baked for the following 2 weeks after the election
[9:16pm] Sayyida: I do not like how I feel about this ending
[9:17pm] Bosun: I sense a GOP rout.

[9:18pm] yari: If we're doing coverage on the 3rd, we need to deal with the possibility that we will likely not know results

[9:18pm] yari: Just be aware of that
[9:18pm] Olivia_: Most will just do commentary and laugh at out democracy and mock the commentators on tv.
[9:18pm] Bosun: Cobble together points the Dems don't want to cover? Human rights? Elimination of drone strikes?
[9:18pm] yari: And also be emotionally prepared for... whatever the frick happens with trump
[9:18pm] jokeefe: With so many people voiting early, many of the ballots will be available to count on election day
